The ideas for this book come from many sources. On a daily basis there are news accounts of corruption in the church, in government, in law enforcement. From my research I believe there are many instances of more hidden truth in a prostitute than in a preacher, and more disguised evil in a preacher than in a prostitute. The john knows why the prostitute is there; the congregation can't always be sure about the preacher.
