Author Bio Mireille Liong-A-Kong grew up in Suriname, South America and got her master’s Degree in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. That’s where her first book about Afrikan hair was published. It clearly filled a void as the first edition was sold out within two months.
