J.A. Rogers has spent more than fifty years in anthropological and historical research on the Negro in all ages and all lands. He has also traveled extensively, particularly in Europe and Africa. He was present at the coronation of Haile Selassie I in 1930 and was a newspaper correspondent in Italo-Ethiopian War of 1935-36.
